Stepping Stones Nigeria

Stepping Stones Nigeria is a UK charity that provides hope for a brighter future to thousands of children in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. We are the only international organisation working in this area on challenging issues such as: saving and transforming the lives of so-called child ‘witches’, child trafficking, inadequate levels of education and low literacy rates.

We see a world where every child is free.  In order to achieve this, we work in partnership with local
organisations and provide them with the skills and support that they need to deliver food,
education, shelter and healthcare to some of Nigeria’s poorest and most vulnerable
children. Through advocacy and research we passionately campaign at a local,
national and international level to defend and uphold children’s rights.
Whilst we have recorded many significant achievements since the organisation
was established in 2005, thousands more children continue to be abused,
abandoned and exploited everyday. Only with your help can we continue to
save, protect and transform the lives of vulnerable children, including
those stigmatised as ‘witches’.
