Walter and Eliza Hall Institute
Since 1915, researchers at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research have made significant discoveries into immunity, cancer and infectious diseases. These discoveries have improved the health of millions of people worldwide. With your help, we hope to improve the lives of tens of millions more. Our researchers tackle some of the most urgent and widespread health challenges facing humanity. Institute researchers work on cancers including blood, breast, bowel, lung, ovarian and stomach cancers. We also work on rare diseases; immune disorders such as diabetes, asthma, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and coeliac disease; and infectious diseases such as hepatitis, tuberculosis, malaria and HIV.
