Fee Structure

While the minimum gift we receive is $10, the minimum grant we make is $250, which may be made by combining several small gifts.   Fees are retained at the time a grant is disbursed.

Fees retained on single gifts:

Minimum fee of $50.00, or 7.5% of gifts less than $10,000, whichever is larger.5% of gifts between $10,000 and $90,000.
2.5% of gifts between $100,000 and $390,000, capped at $12,500, the maximum fee retained from any single gift.
No additional fees for amounts above $390,000.

Our minimum grant is $250.00. To ensure that charities receive the maximum benefit, we retain and bundle small gifts, distributing them as the beneficiary directs.  This may be quarterly, annually, or when a specified total has been reached.  In this way we are able to accept gifts as low as $10.   If you would like to know more about this service please contact us.

Example 1.

A gift of $500 – we retain $50 (our minimum)

Example 2.

A gift of $30,000 – we retain $1,750, calculated as follows:
First $10,000, we retain 7.5% = $750
Remaining $20,000, we retain 5% = $1,000
Total amount retained = $1,750.

Example 3.

A gift of $200,000 – we retain $7750, calculated as follows:
First $10,000, we retain 7.5% = $750
Next $90,000, we retain 5% = $4,500
Remaining $100,000, we retain 2.5% – $2,500
Total amount retained = $7,750

Example 4.

A gift of $450,000 – we retain $12,500, calculated as follows:
First $10,000, we retain 7.5% = $750
Next $90,000, we retain 5% = $4,500
Remaining $350,000, at 2.5% = $8,750, of which we retain only $7,250, reaching our maximum fee of $12,500 for any single gift.
